On Sunday, January 17, two tornadoes touched down in Sarasota and Manatee Counties. I was in Eagle 8 flying over them. In this live report, I trace the entire path of the tornado that hit Siesta Key.
Half Dome, Yosemite Valley
Some may brave the 14-hour, strenuous hike to the top of Yosemite’s most famous peak for the bragging rights. I’m just looking for beautiful views. You can get an amazing one from Sentinel Dome, a much shorter (though still strenuous in parts) two-mile hike right across the valley.
